Welcome in Zakka Heaven...or a visit to Hirondelle...

Guten Morgen, ihr Lieben! Na, wie war euer verlängertes Wochenende? Oder hattet ihr gestern gar keinen freien Tag? Also wir haben es natürlich in vollen Zügen genossen und ein paar süße gruselige Stunden mit leckerer Kürbissuppe und Lagerfeuer verbracht. Es geht doch nichts über einen sonnigen Herbsttag im Freien, oder? Neue Kraft tanken und einfach den Augendblick genießen...wie schön...und so konnte ich gestern schon frisch und munter in eine neue kreative Woche starten. Das fiel mir dann noch leichter durch einen wunderbaren neuen Link von einer unserer frauheubergFrauen zu dem japanischen Zakka-Onlineshop Hirondelle. Oh, ich liebe diese Läden und wäre jedes Mal am liebsten bei Raumschiff Enterprise um mich an diese tollen Orte hinbeamen zu können...ja, Spocky beam me up! Und da unsere frauheubergFrau  gerade in Japan weilt, kann ich mich auf ein paar Souvenirs freuen...lieben Dank, Mei...;)...und sonst bleibt einfach noch das Träumen...an einem trüben Dienstagvormittag doch genau das Richtige, oder? Also unbedingt bei Hirondelle vorbeischauen und sich von den tollen Papierwaren und Verpackungsideen inspirieren lassen...viel Spaß und bis später...

Good morning, everybody! Well, how was your weekend? Or you had no day off yesterday? So of course we have enjoyed it and spent a few sweet spooky hours with  delicious pumpkin soup and a campfire. There's nothing like a sunny fall day outdoors, right? Recharge your batteries and just enjoy the moment ... how fine...and so I could yesterday already start fresh and lively to a new creative week. It was then even easier for me with a wonderful new link from one of our frauheuberg women to the Japanese Zakka onlineShop Hirondelle. Oh, I love these stores and i would be every time in Star Trek to beam me up to these great places ... yes, Spocky beam me up! I´m quick get away... to the magical music by Agnes Obel...

Habt ihr wirklich gedacht, wir lassen euch diese Woche ganz alleine? Aber natürlich nicht, ich war nur auf einem kleinen musikalischen Trip in Köln und möchte euch deswegen heute entführen in die wunderbare Musik von Agnes Obel. Am Montag gab sie ein Konzert im Studio 672 im Stadtgarten und frauheuberg war live dabei. Kennt ihr das, wenn man da sitzt und hat das Gefühl, man ist zu richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort? So ging es mir am Montagabend in dieser tollen und einzigartigen Atmosphäre...ein kleines Konzert mit ca. 100 Besuchern und einer so liebenswerten jungen Dänin am E-Piano...wilden Celloklängen und einer Liebe zu Musik, die man im ganzen Raum spüren konnte. Letztes Jahr sang sie sich mit ihrem leichten Song "Just so"  in die Herzen des einen oder anderen T-Mobile-Kunden. Der Song schoss hierzulande gleich neun Wochen lang in die Singlecharts...ihre Musik aber ist noch soviel mehr...ihre Lieder sind voller Sehnsucht, wecken Kindheitserinnerungen und nehmen uns mit auf einer Reise zu unseren Träumen...wenn man die Augen schließt und ihrer Musik lauscht, fühlt man sich in einer anderen Welt, spürt ein wenig Wehmut, aber auch soviel Hoffnung und das Glück, genau jetzt hier zu sein...Wo?...natürlich im Abendteuer "Leben"...;)...  

Do you really think we have got you alone this week? But of course not, I was just on a little musical break in Cologne and I will take you away today to the wonderful music by Agnes Obel. On Monday she gave a concert at Studio 672 at Stadtgarten in Cologne and frauheuberg was there, too. Do you know that if you sit there and feel it is right time and right place? So it was for me on Monday evening in this great and unique atmosphere ...a small concert with around 100 visitors and such a lovable young Danish woman on  the E-piano... wild cello sounds and a love for music that could be felt throughout the room. Last year she sang with her light song "Just so" in the hearts of one or the other T-Mobile customers. The song ran for nine weeks in the singles chart ...  ... but their music is still so much more ...her songs are full of desire, awaken childhood memories and take us on a journey to our dreams ... if you close your eyes and listen to their music, you feel in another world, you feel a little melancholy, yet so much hope and the happiness "just to be here now" ... Where? ... of course in the adventure "life "...;)...

RetroFriday with Beatles juice...mabye?

Okay...ich weiß, ich bin mal wieder spät dran mit unserer Freitagkolumne...aber noch ist ja Freitag und viola heute zwar etwas kürzer, doch nicht weniger inspirierend fand ich dieses großartige Verpackungsdesign von Marc Valega, einem Illustrator und Designer aus Linden, New Jersey...die Beatles als Saft und dann auch noch in vier leckeren Geschmackssorten...Und wer liebt sich nicht unsere vier "Pilzköpfe" der Musikgeschichte?...Mit Liedern wie "Love me do" und "Please Please me" eroberten sie die britischen Hitlisten und schrieben sich bis heute in die Herzen junger und alter Musikliebhaber. Als eine der wichtigsten Popbands der 60iger Jahre haben sie nahezu alle Genres der Pop, - und Rockmusik nachhaltig beeinflusst...ihre Musik ist zu Legende geworden...wie sie selber auch...ich sehe mich noch unter dem Bügelbrett meiner Mama sitzen und den flotten Klängen ihrer Songs lauschen...Erinnerungen sind doch immer wunderbar, oder? Habt ihr auch einen absoluten BeatlesLieblingssong? Ich verabschiede mich auf jedenfalls heute mit einem meiner Lieblingssongs dieser Band in ein hoffentlich spannendes und musikalisches Wochenende und wünsche euch gemütliche Stunden mit euren Lieben...bis nächste Woche...;)...

Okay ... I know I'm late again with our Friday column ... but still so today is Friday and viola a little shorter but no less inspirational I found this great packaging design by Marc Valega, an illustrator and designer from Linden , New Jersey ... The Beatles as a juice and then also in four delicious flavors ... And who does not love our four "mop tops" of music history? ... With songs like "Love Me Do" and "Please Please Me", they conquered the British charts and written up today in the hearts of young and old music lovers. As one of the most important pop bands of the 60s they have almost influence all genres of pop, - and rockmusic ... their music has become a legend ... as themselves ... I also see myself still sitting under the ironing board of my mom and listen to the jaunty sound of their songs ... Memories are always beautiful, right? Do you have an absolute favorite Beatles song? For now I say goodbye with one of my favorite song of this band in a hopefully exciting and musical weekend and I wish you pleasant hours with your loved ones ... until next week ...;)...

Na, Lust abzutauchen, sich unter der Decke einzukuscheln mit einem dieser Bücher, die man doch schon so lange am Stück zu Ende lesen wollte? Let the time run slower...or more time to live and how...

Hallo ihr Lieben! Na, wahrscheinlich sitzt ihr jetzt alle an euerem Arbeitsplatz und träumt vom nächsten Urlaub? Das Wetter ist bei uns im Süden heute auch alles andere als einladend, aber genau richtig um meine To-do-Liste um ein paar Punkte zu erleichtern...ein voller Terminkalender und der Wunsch nach mehr "Zeit zum Leben"... Kennt ihr das nicht auch? Mal vergeht die Zeit wie im Flug und dann wieder wie im Schneckentempo. Wie oft wünschen wir uns, dass wir in den 24 Stunden, die ein Tag hat, möglichst alles auf unseren Listen erledigen können. Und wenn wir genug daran arbeiten , könnten wir bestimmt noch viel mehr schaffen...unser voller Terminkalender hängt an der Wand und schreit uns an: "Wir haben einfach zu wenig Zeit!" Oh, wie schön wäre das, wenn wir die Zeit einfach etwas langsamer laufen lassen könnten, das wir am Ende eines Tages das Gefühl haben, alles ist geschafft und noch soviel möglich. Das muss kein Traum bleiben. Wir müssen nur anfangen uns die Zeit zum Freund zu machen, der für uns arbeitet...die Dinge, die wir erledigen müssen geschickt einteilen und uns einfach nicht zuviel vornehmen...Halten wir inne und nehmen wir unsere Umgebung wieder bewusst wahr, dann beginnen wir auch die Dinge langsamer anzugehen...unsere Zeitwahrnehmung verzögert sich...und wir entwickeln ein bleibendes Gefühl mehr Zeit zu haben...Wie findet ihr das? Habt ihr eure Aufmerksamkeit in letzter Zeit ganz bewusst auf die Dinge des Alltags gerichtet? Habt ihr eure Umgebung wieder einmal mit allen euren Sinnen wahrgenommen? Wenn nicht, dann probiert es aus...hört auf euch, euer Herz mit diesem Song ...lasst einfach mal los...und alles wird leichter...;)...

Hello my friends! Well, probably you are sitting now on all your work and dreams of your next holiday? The weather here in the South is today not inviting, but just right for facilitate my To-do-list to a few points ... a busy schedule and the desire for more "time to live" ... Do you know this, too? Sometimes time passes by quickly and then  like in a snail's pace. How often we wish that we could do everything on our lists in these 24 hours which a day has. And if we work enough at it, we could still determined to achieve much more ... our full schedule on the wall shouted at us: "We simply have too little time".Oh, how nice it would be if we could make the time go just a bit slower, so we have at the end of the day the feeling that everything is done and so much more possible. This need not remain a dream. We just need to get started, to make the time a friend who works for us ...to devide the things we need to do and not to make to much...Let us pause and take our surroundings again true conscious, then we begin to do the things slowly...our perception of time is delayed ... and we have to develop an abiding sense to have more time ...How do you like it? Do you have your attention lately focused deliberately on the things of everyday life? Do you have your environment once again experienced with all your senses? If not, check it out ... listen to you, your heart and this song ... let it just go ... and everything becomes easier ...;)...

Ja, was soll ich sagen, am Freitag kam ich leider nicht mehr dazu euch mit unseren neuen RetroInspirationen in das nächste Herbstwochenende zu schicken. Also haben wir unseren Post kurzerhand auf heute verlegt. Na, und hattet ihr ein schönes kuscheliges Wochenende?...vielleicht mit einer guten Flache Rotwein und knisterndem Feuer im Kamin...wolligwarmen Füßen unter der Decke und einem Krimi, der einem den Schauder über den Rücken ziehen lässt? Wie auch immer, ich denke, ihr hattet euren Spaß, oder? Schön, wenn man sich in der Herbstzeit wieder mal in die eigenen vier Wände zurückzieht , in den Tag hinein lebt, einfach die "ruhigere Zeit" mit guten Freunden genießt...oder vielleicht mal wieder in nostalgischen Kinderbüchern stöbert wie die von dem  französischen Illustrator Alain Grée. 

Ich bin ein absoluter Fan seiner farbenfrohen und bunten Bilderwelt. Alain Grée veröffentlichte mehr als 300 Bücher, die in über 20 Sprachen übersetzt wurden und die Herzen vieler kleiner und großer Leser überall auf der Welt für sich gewannen...so frisch, frech und  in Bewegung...da möchte man am liebsten hineinspringen in seine Bilder wie bei Mary Poppins und teilhaben an seiner ganz eigenen Art die Welt zu entdecken...;)...also schnell mal auf seiner Website vorbeischauen oder durch die wunderbaren Kostbarkeiten bei japanese zakka stöbern...und bist du schon verliebt?...

Yes, what can I say, on Fridays i have not had enough time to send you with our new retro inspirations in the next autumn weekend. So we waited with our post straight until today. Well, you had a nice cozy weekend?...maybe with a good red wine and  crackling fire in the fireplace ...woolly warm feet under the blanket and  a thriller that can pull you shudder down the spine?

Anyway, I think you had your fun, right? Wonderful to be in the autumn time again in your own four walls, live into the day, just enjoy the "quiet time" with good friends ... or maybe discover once again nostalgic children's books such as those from the French illustrator Alain Grée. I am an absolute fan of his colorful imagery. Nature always wears...

Was, schon wieder Mittwochvormittag? Oh Gott, irgendwie schaffe ich gerade nicht die Kurve...soviele Baustellen in meinem Kopf...;)...aber es kommen auch wieder andere Zeiten, oder? Na, wie war euer Wochenende? Hoffentlich hat eure Seele Flügel bekommen und ihr konntet neue Kräfte sammeln für den Alltag! Frauheuberg war die letzte Woche ja fleißig für eine bunte Sonntagausstellung...mit kleinen Kostbarkeiten...soviel dürfen wir noch nicht verraten, da wir einige der Produkte auch in unserem Etsyshop verkaufen wollen...aber seid gewarnt...Kaufsucht garantiert...;)...und bei herrlichem Herbstwetter hatten wir einen wunderbar inspirierenden Sonntagsnachmittag...mit viel kreativem Ausstausch und strahlenden Gesichtern...genau das Richtige für einen gelungenen Start in die Woche und einen hoffentlich arbeitsreichen Mittwochnachmittag...wie immer mit Musik gehts leichter...also vielleicht mal hier reinhören...die Seele streicheln lassen und sich in den Farben der Natur verlieren...einmalig schön...bis später...





What, again Wednesday morning? Oh God, somehow I just do not turn ... so many things in my head ...;)...but there are also other times again, right? Well, how was your weekend? Hopefully, your soul has been given wings and you could recharge your batteries for everyday life! Frauheuberg was so busy the last week with this  colorful exhibition on sundays...with little treasures...unfortunatly we can not tell so much about it because we want to sell some of the products in our Etsyshop ...but be warned ... shopping addiction guaranteed ...;)...and in glorious autumn weather we had a wonderfully inspiring Sunday afternoon ... with a lot of "creative exchange" and smiling faces ... just the right for a successful start to the week and hopefully busy Wednesday afternoon ... as always with music it is easier ... so maybe listen here ... let the soul caress...and lose yourself in the colors of nature ... simply beautiful ...until later...

RetroFriday with "frecklewonder"...

Hallo und einen wunderbaren Freitagabend! Da sind wir wieder mit unserem versprochenen zweiten Post an diesem Tag, bevor wir uns in ein hoffentlich buntes und ereignisreiches Wochenende verabschieden. Na, seit ihr schon mitten im wohlverdienten Feierabend oder bringt euch euer Liebster mit seinem Fußballwahn wieder zur Weißglut? Lieber nicht ärgern, sondern mal in diesem bunten Eldorado für Retroliebhaber a la "frecklewonder" schwelgen...ist das nicht unglaublich?...;)...
Da weiß ich garnicht, was ich zuerst haben möchte...hat absoluten Suchtfaktor...Gott sei dank sitzt Jenny Mitchell mit ihrem Onlineshop "frecklewonder" in Amerika und so kann ich mich erst einmal noch zurückhalten...oder sollte ich doch die Retrostoffe bestellen oder das tolle Blumenkleid aus den 60s?...Hilfe...;)...ich glaube ich schaue einfach mal erst auf ihrem Blog vorbei und lass mich weiter inspirieren...es lebe die Selbstbeherrschung, aber Träumen ist ja erlaubt...wünschen euch ein buntes und hoffentlich gemütliches Oktoberwochenende...vielleicht auf dem Flohmarkt um die Ecke oder doch lieber zuhause mit diesem Buch?...wie auch immer...habt Spaß und genießt...alles Liebe und bis später...

Hello and a wonderful Friday night! Here we are again with our promised second post that day, before we say goodbye in a hopefully colorful and exciting weekend. Well, are you already in the middle of a little leisure time, or make your sweetheart you crazy again with his football mania? Better not bother, but even discover this colorful paradise for retro lovers a la "frecklewonder" ... isn´t it incredibly ?...;)... so i don´t know what i want to buy first...it´s totally addicitive...Thanks God Jenny Mitchell sits with her online shop "frecklewonder" in America and so I can hold  me back once more ... or should I still order the retro fabrics or the great floral dress from the 60s? ... Help ...;)...I think I just go first on her blog and let me inspire more ... long live the self-control, but dreaming is allowed ... yes ...wish you a colorful and hopefully pleasant October weekend ... maybe at a flea market around the corner or at home with this book? ... anyway ... have fun and enjoy ... all the best and see you later ...
