And the Winner is ...or who travel to...

Hallo ihr Lieben! Ich hoffe ihr hattet ein gemütliches Wochenende und habt vielleicht auch ein wenig die Frühlingssonne genießen können. Oh man, uns geht es so gut. Unvorstellbar wenn man die Menschen in Japan sieht. Die Bilder gehen mir nicht aus dem Kopf. Man kann das Ausmaß dieser Katastrophe einfach immer noch nicht greifen, oder? Und natürlich geht hier alles weiter. Im Herzen und in den Gedanken aber bleibe ich ganz oft stehen und denke öfters nach wie wunderbar es doch ist...hier mit all den lieben Menschen, die für einen da sind...und das man glückliche Momente festhalten muss...sie leben...sich freuen und andere erfreuen...das ist das schönste, was es gibt...Freude schenken...und so freue ich mich heute mit Merle, die nach unserer Auslosung das reiselustige Giveaway gewonnen hat. Also packe die Koffer und ab nach...ja, die meisten von euch hatten Recht, in die Stadt der Currywurst...nach Berlin...oder kommt die doch aus Hamburg?...na, egal...herzlichen Glückwunsch und ganz viel Spaß mit dem wirklich spannenden Travelguide von Phaidon. Hello my friends! I hope you had a cozy weekend and maybe you have enjoyed the spring sunshine a little bit. Oh man, we all must be so happy. Unbelievable when you see the people in Japan. The pictures can not leave my head. You can´t still grasp the extent of this disaster, right? And of course, everything goes its way. But in my heart and mind  I stop very often and think how wonderful it is here ... with all the lovely people who are there for us ... and we must hold on these happy moments ...live ...be glad and enjoy others ... that´s the most important thing ... give pleasure ... and so I am looking forward today with Merle, who won our travel fun giveaway. So pack your bags and off to ... well, most of you were right...to the city of Currywurst ...to Berlin ... or does it come from Hamburg yet? ... well, anyway ... congratulations and a lot of fun with the really exciting Travel Guide by Phaidon. Retrofriday...with a colorful Homestory by Dos Family

Oh, da freuen wir uns aber über eure rege Teilnahme an unserem kleinen reiselustigen Gewinnspiel.Wir sind schon sehr gespannt, wer denn dann am Montag stolzer Besitzer eines neuen Wallpaper City Guide werden wird. Also noch fleißig mitmachen und Daumen drücken! Nun ja, natürlich bin ich auch die letzten Tage in Gedanken bei den Menschen in Japan und im nahen Osten und hoffe wirklich, das die Dinge überall ihre gute Wendung nehmen werden. Manchmal weiß man gar nicht, das man auf der Sonnenseite des Lebens verweilt, oder?...das man einfach nur so unglaublich froh sein kann über sein Leben mit all den kleinen und großen Tücken, die es uns öfters mal beschert...aber es so liebes, - und so lebenswert machen...also sollten wir so unsagbar glücklich sein über all das, was wir haben und genießen können...was uns lachen, aber auch manchmal verzweifeln lässt...und was uns zeigt, dass wir leben...hier im jetzt...

Und so bin ich heute einfach nur glücklich wieder eine wunderbare Homestory von Isabell und Jenny´s farbenfrohem Blog Dos Family mit euch zu teilen. Ich liebe ihre wunderbaren Aufnahmen...immer so am Menschen und seiner ganz eigenen Art zu Leben...und das kunterbunte Haus der Illustratorin Lovisa Witt und ihrer Familie spricht mir heute einfach aus der Seele. So be a part of it and cross your fingers! Well, of course my thoughts have gone the last days to the people in Japan and the Middle East and i really hope that all things will take their good turn. I´m quick get away...to the porcelain world of Diem Chau

Es wird besser werden...irgendwann...aber nie wie es war. Meine Gedanken sind hier und dann doch wieder an all den Orten, wo die Menschen leben und hoffen, das es die Zukunft bald besser mit ihnen meint...das Leben geht weiter...mit all den kleinen und großen Dingen, die uns im Alltag beschäftigen...und berühren...uns begeistern und vielleicht auf neue Ideen und Wege bringen...und das ist gut...es macht uns lebendig und glücklich...und diese Momente sind so kostbar...;)...wie heute, als ich da saß und nicht wusste, ob ich heute etwas schreiben könnte.  Und dann dachte ich an diese Porzellanschale mit den beiden Händen, die dieses rote Band zusammenhalten...irgendwann und irgendwo gesehen...erfasst und im Herzen behalten...die Arbeiten der wunderbaren vietnamesischen Künstlerin Diem Chau kann man auch nicht vergessen...sie bleiben im Gedächtnis...in ihrer Zartheit...so wunderbar unberührt...fast rein...lassen unsere Herzen strahlen...vor Glück...und verbreiten diesen inneren Frieden in uns...für mich gerade das schönste Gefühl...also lasst euch von Diem Chau´s magischer Welt verzaubern und spürt einfach das Besondere im Kleinen...;)...bis später...

It will get better ... one day ... but never as it was. My thoughts are here and then again in all the places where people live and hope that the future will soon mean it better with them ... life goes on ... with all the little and big things to us in the daily life ... and touch us...excite us and possibly bring us to new ideas and ways ... and that's good ... it makes us alive and happy ... and those moments are so precious ...;) ... and now, as I sat there today and did not know if I could write something. And then I thought of this porcelain cup with the two hands that hold this red ribbon ... seen sometime, somewhere ... captured and retained in the heart ... you can not forget the wonderful work of the Vietnamese artist Diem Chau ...it will be in your heart... in its tenderness ... so wonderful untouched ...almost purely... let our hearts shine with happiness and distribute this inner peace in us ... just for me the best feeling ... so be enchanted by the magical world of Diem Chau and feels just the special in the small ...;)... until later ...

Small bright spots for the year...or be a part of "Jahreswichteln"

Dürfen wir uns eigentlich freuen? Jetzt wo an anderen Orten die Menschen hoffen und bangen, jeden Tag, das ihre schlimmsten Träume nicht in Erfüllung gehen. Heute bin ich solchen Fragen hier im virtuellen Netz begegnet, und kann nur sagen, wenn nein, dann müssten wir wirklich immer traurig sein bei all den unfassbaren Dingen, die hier auf unserem Planeten passieren...oder was meint ihr?...nein, natürlich darf man sich freuen...auch jetzt über die Kleinigkeiten des Lebens...was wären wir auch ohne sie...;)...und so macht auch frauheuberg beim Jahreswichteln mit...5 lieben Menschen ein Lächeln schenken...mit etwas Selbstgemachten...die Idee purzelte aus den Kinderschuhen bei den Schlitzohren weiter zu syngg und lingonsmak. Und bei der lieben julia von philuko bin ich dann auf den Zug aufgesprungen. Jetzt darf ich mich auch über ein kleines Überraschungspaket freuen...und wer auch Lust hat mal einfach so über das Jahr hin beschenkt zu werden, der sollte hier einen Kommentar hinterlassen...und für die ersten 5 wird eine kleine frauheuberg-Überraschung ihr Lichtblick 2011...

Weitere Spielregel: jeder, der hier mitmacht, erklärt sich wiederum bereit, diese wirklich süße Idee auf seinem Blog zu posten und weiteren 5 Menschen ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zu zaubern.

Can we really look forward? Now where in other places people hope and have fear, every day, that their worst dreams will come true. Today I have found questions like these here in the virtual world, and can only say, if not, then we really need to be always sad with all the incredible things that happen here on our planet ... what do you think? ... no, of course you could be happy ... even now about the little things of life ... what would we be without them? ...;)... and so frauheuberg will also be a part of  the  Jahreswichteln  ... bring 5 people a smile ... with something handmade ... the idea tumbled out of its infancy at Schlitzohren and then to snygg and lingonsmak. And on the lovley blog philuko by julia I then jumped on the train. Now I may also look forward to a little surprise package ... and who also just like to receive a little present this year, should leave a comment here ... and for the first 5 people a small frauheuberg surprise will be their ray of light 2011 ...

For Japan with Love...be silent on Friday...

Die letzten Tage haben uns wieder auf schreckliche Weise gezeigt, wie endlich das Leben doch sein kann. Am Freitag ist es genau eine Woche her, das ein Land von einer gewaltigen Naturkatastrophe heimgesucht wurde. Menschen haben alles verloren, was sie jemals besitzt haben...sie stehen vor dem Nichts...und über die unberechenbaren Ereignisse im Atomkraftwerk Fukushima mag wohl keiner so genau nachdenken. Ich bewundere die Menschen dort für ihre Stärke auch in diesen schweren Stunden nicht aufzugeben...ihr Leben in die Hand zu nehmen und einfach zu hoffen...also schließe ich mich übermorgen der wunderbaren Aktion "Bloggers Day of Silence" von Utterly Engaged & Ever Ours an und gedenke im Stillen der Menschen in Japan und aller, die durch diese unvorstellbaren Ereignisse ihre Lieben verloren haben...also kein Post am Freitag...vielmehr ein innehalten...wie ich finde ein sehr schönes Zeichen in die Welt hinaus...jeder kann daran teilnehmen und ich würde mich freuen, wenn auch einige von euch diese stille Auszeit nehmen...lasst uns ein Stück zusammenrücken in diesen Tagen...ohne zu verzweifeln...vielmehr um Hoffnung zu geben...jeder wie er selber kann und will...lieben Dank...bis später...

The last few days have shown us again in a terrible manner, that life can be so quickly finished. On Friday, it is exactly a week ago that a country was hit by a massive natural disaster. People have lost everything they have ever have ... they are left with nothing ... and nobody likes to think exactly to the unpredictable events in the nuclear power plant Fukushima. I admire the people there for their strength in this difficult time ... not to give up and take their lives in hand and just hope ... so I support on Friday the wonderful initiative "Bloggers Day of Silence" by Utterly Engaged & Ever Ours, and remember in quiet of the Japanese people and all who have lost their loved ones in these unimaginable disasters ... so no post on Friday ... but rather a break ... for me a very thoughtful sign into the world  ... everyone can participate and I would be happy if some of you take this quiet time out ... let's come a little closer together these days ... not to despair ... but to give hope ... each of us how he can and will ... thank you ... until later ...

I´m quick get away...to the magical music of Joe Hisaishi

In Gedanken bin ich einfach nur bei all den Menschen in Japan...den Bildern, die sich mir eingeprägt haben...in all ihrer Gewalt...und natürlich sind wir alle soweit weg von dem allen...aber sich so einfach wieder mit Design und DIYprojekten  zu beschäftigen, fällt mir diese Tage einfach schwer. Und irgendwie möchte ich einfach ein Zeichen geben, den Menschen so weit am anderen Ende der Welt, das wir bei Ihnen sind...nicht vergessen...und immer auch hoffen...so wie sie...vielleicht heute mit der wunderbaren Musik von Joe Hisaishi, einem japanischen Komponist, Pianist, Dirigent, Autor und Regisseur, der mich mit diesem Song einfach verzaubert hat...Musik beflügelt die Seele...setzt gute Gedanken frei...die schicke ich hoffnungsvoll dem Himmel entgegen und glaube fest daran...;)...alles wird hoffentlich gut... 

In my mind I'm just with all those people in Japan ... the images that have impressed me ... in all its violence ... and of course we are far away from all this ... but it is difficult for me to deal again with design and DIYprojects these days. And somehow, I just want to give a sign to the people so far at the other end of the world that we are with them... remember ... and always hope ... like them... maybe today with the music by Joe Hisaishi, a Japanese composer, pianist, conductor, writer and director who enchanted me with this song... music inspires the soul ... releases good thoughts ... I'm sending them toward heaven and believe firmly ...;)... everything will become hopefully good ...
