Something little for your home...or a great idea for storage by Fieldborg

Guten Morgen ihr Lieben! Na, wie ist eure Woche? Schon reif für das Wochenende oder habt ihr noch ein paar spannende Dinge in den nächsten Tagen vor? Ich weiß nicht, wie es euch geht, aber am Anfang des Jahres bin ich immer voller Tatendrang und guter Vorsätze unsere Wohnung mal wieder zu entrümpeln und um zu gestalten. Eine echte Herausforderung bei all den Sachen, die sich die letzten Jahre angesammelt haben...kennt bestimmt jeder von euch auch, oder? Und gestern bin ich dann mal wieder fluchend über meine Geschenkpapiersammlung geflogen und dachte mir, mensch die musst du auch mal besser verstauen...und schwups fall ich heute förmlich mit der Nase auf diese tolle Verstauidee...das ist doch mal klasse...einfach, aber wirksam...oder was meint ihr?...gefunden habe ich die wunderbare Idee auf dem skandinavischen Blog Fieldborg...also einfach mal vorbeischauen und inspirieren lassen...ich werde jetzt erst mal mein Geschenkpapier sortieren...;)...bis später...

Good morning everybody! Well, how is your week? Ready for the weekend or do you have a few interesting things in the next few days? I do not know about you, but at the beginning of the year I am always full of energy and good intentions to declutter our home again and remodel it. A real challenge for all the things that we have collected in the recent years ... that knows each of you, right? And yesterday I tripped again cursing over my wrapping paper collection and thought that i must have a better idea for organize and stow them... and whoosh ... I found today this great storage idea ... just so simple but so effective ...What do you think? ... I saw this wonderful idea on  the Scandinavian blog Fieldborg ... so just stop by and be inspired ... I'm going to sort my wrapping paper now ... ;)... until later ...

Retrofriday...or Dream a little, dream of Lolas Room...

Da habe ich doch die letzten Posts sehr ausgiebig über die kreative Männerwelt um uns herum berichtet. Also sind jetzt mal wieder wir Mädels dran, oder was meint ihr? Lust auf ein bisschen Pastel, ein bisschen Retro...soft und pure...Lola´s Room lässt uns vom Frühling träumen, wenn auch draußen noch die Welt in weiß gehüllt ist...Lola´s Room das ist die magische Welt der Photographin Cassia Beck, die einen entführt auf eine Reise  zu den ganz alltäglichen Dingen im Leben...bei ihr träumt man sich einfach weg und lässt sich inspirieren die Dinge mal  mit anderen Augen zu sehen...das ganz besondere im Kleinen...und dann hat man vielleicht Lust am Wochenende mal wieder in alten Koffern zu stöbern, einfach mal zu naschen, die Beine hochzulegen und den kleinen Dingen einen tieferen Sinn zu geben...einfach nur so...also macht es euch gemütlich, vielleicht mit diesem Song und genießt...bis nächste Woche...;)...

I´m quick get away...to the crochet dreams by myboshi

Na, was meint ihr, können Männer in typischen Handarbeitstechniken auch kreativ sein? Seid gestern kann ich das mal wieder mit einem lauten Ja bestätigen...oh ja, sie können und wie...so gesehen bei Thomas Jaenisch und Felix Rohland von myboshi, einem kleinen Unternehmen in Franken, das ganz individuelle Mützen für den Outdoorbereich anbietet...sozusagen myboshi (auf japanisch heißt "boshi" Mütze) für jeden Kopf und jede Gelegenheit. Aus einer glücklichen Fügung auf einer Reise nach Japan heraus brachten die beiden Studenten ihre Idee von der ultimativ individuellen Häkelmütze nach Deutschland. Eine spanische Skilehrerkollegin führte sie in die Geheimnisse des Häkeln ein und der Traum von myBoshi war geboren. Mittlerweile haben sie auch einen eigenen Onlineshop, auf dem man mit dem "myboshi"- Konfigurator seine ganz eigene und individuelle Kopfbedeckung zusammenstellen kann.

myboshi...das ist eine Philosophie...raus aus der Massenproduktion und dem Konformismus...rein zu mehr Individualität...mit myboshi zeigst du, wer du bist...;)...immer nach deinem Geschmack und so wunderbar originell...also unbedingt mal vorbeischauen und vielleicht findest auch du deine ganz eigene myboshi...viel Spaß und bis später...

Well, what do you mean, could men be creative in traditional hand techniques that are typical for women? Since yesterday I can confirm this with a loud Yes ... oh yes, they can and how ... so seen at myboshi by Thomas Jaenisch and Felix Rohland, a small company in Germany serving quite individual hats for outdoors ... so to speak myboshi (in Japanese means "boshi" hat) for every head and every occasion. From a happy coincidence during a trip to Japan the two students brought out their idea of the ultimate individual crochet hat to Germany. A Spanish ski instructor colleague introduced them to the secrets of crochet and the dream of myboshi was born. Meanwhile, they also have their own online shop, where you can create your own unique and individual myboshi with the "myboshi" - configurator...myboshi ... this is a philosophy ... out from the mass production and the "look the same" - feeling ... into individuality ... with myboshi you show who you are ...;)... always according to your taste and wonderfully original ... so stop by and perhaps even you will also find your very own myboshi ... have fun and see you later ...

Na, habt ihr den ersten Tag der Woche gut überstanden? Mein Kopf ist heute so voller Ideen und Bilder, das ich gar nicht weiß, was ich euch zuerst zeigen soll. Kennt ihr das auch? Man sitzt da und ist so überwältigt von all den wunderbaren Dingen, die man hier auf dieser unendlichen virtuellen Spielwiese findet. Aber man sollte einfach immer nach seinem Gefühl gehen und dem Herzen folgen...oder? So wie Holstee, ein  New Yorker Designerteam, das sich zu Aufgabe gemacht hat, Dinge, denen keiner mehr Beachtung schenkt, zu recyclen und etwas neues Besonderes zu schaffen. Well, you've survived the first day of the week ? My head is now so full of ideas and images that I am not at all know what to show you first. Do you know that? But you should just always go to your feelings and follow your heart ... right? As Holstee, a New York design team, which has made the job to recycle things which no one pays more attention, and create something new special. Guten Morgen, meine lieben Freunde! Vielen Dank für eure lieben Worte und Gedanken zu unserem letzten Post! Langsam komme ich wieder in der alltäglichen Routine an, aber da man am Anfang des Jahres immer voller guter Vorsätze ist, habe ich mir vorgenommen, dass ich dieses Jahr mir jeden Tag ein wenig Auszeit nehmen werde...nur für mich und ohne den Laptop vor der Nase...letztes Jahr saß ich vor allem Abends immer noch lange am Computer und ein gutes Buch zu lesen könnte da bestimmt eine bessere Alternative sein, oder? Überhaupt gibt es doch fast nichts Schöneres als es sich mit einer spannenden Lektüre unter einer kuscheligen Decke gemütlich zu machen...gesagt, getan...am Wochenende habe ich dann erst einmal in meinen wunderbaren neuen Interiorbüchern von édition Paumes herumgestöbert...

Good morning, my dear friends! Thank you for your kind words and thoughts to our last post! Slowly, I'll be back in the everyday routine, but since at the beginning of the year you are always full of good intentions, I have decided that this year I'm gonna take a little time out every day ... just for me and without the laptop in my face ... especially last year I sat still long evenings on the computer and i believe to read a good book could be a better alternative, right? In general, there is almost nothing better than to make yourself comfortable with a thrilling read under a cozy blanket... said and done ... this weekend, I then first probed into my wonderful new Interiors books by édition Paumes ... I love their Family Style books ... full of great colorful ideas for your home ... and always you could discover something new inspiring ... Happy New Year and all our best wishes for 2011...

Hallo ihr Lieben! Da sind wir wieder zurück aus unserer längeren Winterpause und hoffen ihr hattet auch so schöne gemütliche Tage im Kreise eurer Lieben wie ich...auf ein neues und spannendes 2011 mit vielen Überraschungen, die uns hoffentlich den Alltag versüssen werden. Da ich immer noch nicht ganz fit bin (diesmal meinen es die Viren echt gut mit mir), werde ich auch das neue Jahr etwas langsamer angehen müssen, aber bestimmt nicht weniger aufregend und bunt. Das kann ich euch versprechen...;)...manchmal ist einfach der Wurm drinnen und dann muss man auf sich und seine Bedürfnisse Rücksicht nehmen. Aber das wird schon wieder werden...immer guter Dinge sein...Auf jedenfall bin ich ganz glücklich darüber, dass ich einen großen Punkt auf meiner to-do-Liste vor ein paar Tagen erledigen konnte...unser Beitrag zum Sketchbookproject 2011 von Art House ist gestern unbeschadet in New York angekommen...

oh ja, die Austellung und Tour beginnt am 19.Februar in der Brooklyn Art Liberary in New York...also falls ihr in dieser Zeit in New York weilt, dann könnt ihr euch ja unser ganz persönliches frauheuberg Sketchbook mal anschauen, bevor es auf seine große Tour durch Amerika startet...aufregend, oder?...also ein wunderbarer kreativer Start in das neue Jahr beginnt und ihr seid hoffentlich dabei...mit diesem Song, ganz viel Gesundheit und vielen neuen Ideen im Kopf...alles Liebe für euch alle und bis später...

Hello my friends! Now we are back from our long winter break and hope you had such a nice cozy days in the company of your loved ones like me ... to a new and exciting 2011 with many surprises that hopefully will sweeten your days. Since I'm still not quite fit (this time the virus like me too much), I will also need to welcome the new year a little slower, but certainly no less exciting and colorful. I can promise you ...;)...Sometimes just the worm is inside (you say this in Germany) and then you have to be considerate of yourself and your needs. But it could be only better now ... always think positive ...In any case I am very happy that I could do a large point on my to-do list a few days ago. Our contribution to the Sketchbook Project 2011 by Art House has arrived yesterday in New York ... Oh yes, the exhibition and tour will begin on February 19, 2011 at the Brooklyn Art Liberary in New York. So if you will stay at this time in New York, then you can even look at our personal frauheuberg Sketchbook times before it will start on the grand tour across America ... exciting, right? ... so a wonderful creative start to the new year begins and hope you will join ... with this song, very good health and many new ideas in my head ... all the best for you all and see you later ...
