Und da sind wieder...es ist Freitag und ich starte gerade mit der Liveübertragung von dem FIFA World Cup 2010 aus Südafrika in ein hoffentlich sommerlich warmes Wochenende. Unser deutsches Team ist ja erst am Sonntag gegen Australien dran. Hallo meine Leser aus dem Land der Kiwis! Ich drücke natürlich beiden Mannschaften die Daumen. Möge der Bessere gewinnen, oder?
Und wenn wir gerade bei Südafrika sind, dachte ich, ich zeige euch heute eine wunderbares Firmenprojekt, das es sich zu Aufgabe gemacht hat bevorzugt Frauen aus den Townships die Möglichkeit zu geben, selbständig zu arbeiten und sich damit ein Stück finanzielle Unabhängigkeit aufzubauen. Die 2002 von Adri Schütz gegründete Firma Mielie (in africaans bedeutet das "Mais") bietet farbenprächtiges Design aus recycelten Materialien an...bunt und so individuell...mit viel Liebe im Detail...;)...und Respekt für die Natur und den Menschen. Adri liegt es am Herzen, die Welt ein wenig besser zu machen und das Leben anderer positiv zu verändern. Das ist ihr mit ihrer "fa-mielie" wunderbar gelungen. And here we are again...it's Friday and I just start with the live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup 2010 from South Africa in a hopefully hot summer weekend. Our german team will still only play against Australia on sundays. Hello my readers from the Land of Kiwis! I hit the thumbs for both teams. May the best man win, right?
And if we are on South Africa, I thought I'll show you today a wonderful company project that has made it to his mission to give women, preferably from the townships, the opportunity to build a piece of financial independence. The company Mielie (in Africaans "corn"), born in 2002 around Adri Schütz, offers design from recycled materials ... colorful and individual ... with loving attention to detail ...;)...and respect for the nature and people. It´s important for Adri to make the world a little better and improve the life of others positivly. It has succeeded wonderfully with her "fa-Mielie".
