"Follow the line..." by Laura Ljungkvist


Heute Morgen wachte ich auf und hatte das erste Mal wieder richtig Hunger. Oh Gott sei dank ich bin wieder unter den Lebenden und dann musste ich gleich an diese farbenfrohen Illustrationen von Laura Ljungkvist denken, die ich vor einigen Tagen im Netz gefunden hatte. Ihre Graphiken sind so dynamisch und voller Lebensfreude, da kommt man nicht daran vorbei. Laura Ljungkvist, in Gothenburg / Schweden geboren, begann 1988 ihre Karriere als freischaffende Illustratorin für Design, Werbung und Medien bis sie 2001 ihr erstes illustriertes Kinderbuch "Toni´s Topsy Turvy Telephone Day" herausbrachte. Danach startete sie mit einer Kinderbuchserie unter dem Titel "Follow the line, Follow the line through the house und Follow the line around the World", aus dem auch die, in diesem Post gezeigten Illustrationen, stammen.
Mit ihren bunten 70iger Jahre Illustrationen führt Laura Kinder durch die Geheimnisse der Welt, stellt kleine Fragen und regt so zum Nachdenken und Mitmachen an...wunderbare Bücher für so verregnete Tage wie heute...also ich muss jetzt gleich mal hier shoppen gehen, ihr auch?...lasst euch doch auch zu einer kleinen Pause verführen...;)...



This morning I woke up and was the first time really hungry again. Oh thank God I'm back among the living and and then I had thought at these colorful illustrations by Laura Ljungkvist that I had found a few days ago on the net. Her graphics are so dynamic and full of vitality, so you can not get miss it. Laura Ljungkvist, born in Gothenburg, Sweden, began her career in 1988 as a freelance illustrator for design, advertising and media until 2001 when she brought out her first illustrated children's book "Toni's Topsy Turvy Telephone Day". After that she started with a children's book series entitled "Follow the line, Follow the line through the House and Follow the line around the World," from which even these illustrations in this post, come.
With her colorful 70´s illustrations Laura leads children in the secrets of the world, asks little questions and motivates to reflect and participate...wonderful books for such rainy days like today ... so I have to go shopping now here, you too? ...Let yourself but also seduce to a small break, right!...
