what makes you most happy? ...

and once again friday ...today we are a little bit later on the way ...but yesterday, we simply grudged us a near-blogging free evening ...and were at the Vienna Opera Ball ...what's really in vienna? ... no, far from it...;)... unfortunately not ...only comfortable in front of the tv ...but this is one of my annual traditions meet with my mum and follow "everything waltz" on the screen ...i do not know why ...but have you also seen too, that from a spontaneous situation, something permanent, stable results ?...a few years ago we started this ...and somehow we have kept it over the years ... i think it's wonderful ...especially in today's fast-paced world to preserve such important rituals for themselves ... is it not?... in what little personal events in the year can you rejoice?...what makes you most happy? ...oh yes, on sunday is again the "day of love" ...but really you should treat yourself every now and then something ... and not only at certain times, right? ...so let me think about what makes my heart beat faster this weekend, when i consider ...

                     - a steaming cup marani (green tea) in the morning
                     - stamp with my loved ones through the deep snow
                     - take a warm bubble bath
                     - finally watch the movie "coco chanel"
                     - and eat lots of chocolate

perfect, right? ... and you? ... so on the weekend you just let charmed yourself once again by the little things in life ...and perhaps also of the wonderful photographs of amberfouts photography ... a little onlineshop on etsy ...or explore  for old time treasures that you can exchange for our weekly Swap ...whatever, make yourself simply a joy ...because is not life wonderful?... a magical weekend and until next week ... much love ...;)...

  3. Yes! That absolutely sounds like a perfect weekend! And I agree about those little traditions that start from spontaneous ideas. A few years ago my husband & I got crazy dressed up like we were going to the Oscars, and went and watched them on TV with friends, who also got all dolled up. It was a blast, and we're hoping to do it again this year. Hope your weekend is wonderful, Ines!!!

  8. I like the sound of your weekend too! Mine favourite things are walking along the creek with my husband and our puppy dog, eating home-made raspberry muffins, sifting through antique stores, solving vintage jigsaw puzzles with missing pieces and going for long bicycle rides in the countryside x
